Radon water is mineral water, that possess small amounts of radioactive radon. There are a few places in Poland, including Świeradów Zdrój, where radon water is included in the healing process. They are valued mainly for their beneficial properties for their analgesic and antiseptic nature:

The beneficial effects of radon therapy can be seen in many diseases and are especially related to: arteriosclerosis, hypertension, thyroid diseases, arterial trunk diseases, treating diabetes, peripheral nervous system, rheumatic diseases, musculoskeletal and joint disorders, some women‛s diseases - especially during menopause, gynecological and andrological diseases and also by some skin diseases.
Newest studies prove, that bathing in water with addition of radon strenghtens the resistance the same way, as for example taking vitamins, participating in sports or the application of a balanced diet. Small amounts of radioactive element are used widely in medicine and spa treatments.
